Born and raised in Waukegan,IL, Mami Zaddy is a lifelong musician who's quickly earning a reputation for her original beats, catchy bilingual lyrics and unique ability to blend genres. Mami Zaddy has been performing ever since she could hold a mic - whether she was starring in her own music videos singing Gloria Trevi covers in her living room when she was 5, playing clarinet in middle school band, or playing guitar in the Rondalla de Yuriria when living in her family's hometown in Guanajuato, Mexico. Zaddy has also booked gigs as a keyboard player and backup singer for the Waukegan Band Rosa’s Cantina and with Chicago Rock Band The Loose Cannons. One thing is for sure - Mami Zaddy's spin on Latin Urban style is getting get noticed, and she's been booked and busy playing gigs all over the Midwest. Zaddy is also currently celebrating her first international appearance that occurred in Guanajuato, Mexico.
