My mother gave all three of my sisters bedrooms in my new house before I had the chance to sleep in it. In other words, my mother treated me like a living checkbook for our family and saw no need to check with me before assigning my sisters’ bedrooms. All three of my sisters felt that they could come to the house, and when they did, I would simply be happy for them and allow them to take over everything I worked so hard to create. Brianna laughed. “Don’t look so shocked, Audrey. You bought more house than you know what to do with.”
Chloe added, “Mom said you are pretty much never at home anyway.”
Madison, the youngest, turned to me and said, “This room is bright. I want it.”
I turned to Mother, “You gave away bedrooms in my house?”
That smile disappeared. “Family doesn’t ask family for permission.”
Then, Brianna said something that made the whole house temporarily colder.
“You’re just a bank account that works for your sisters.”
They all laughed at that...Read Full Story In First C0mment==>>
