Arrest Warrant Issued For 49ers Receiver Brandon Aiyuk

An arrest warrant was issued for Brandon Aiyuk on June 3, 2026, following a December 2025 YouTube video showing him speeding. The footage depicts him driving a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing at speeds up to 111 mph near Levi’s Stadium.

Aiyuk began the season injured, but that devolved over time to a rift with San Francisco, resulting in him not playing a game for the 49ers this year while the team prepared to move on from him in the offseason.

Aiyuk reportedly cut off all communication with the team and coaches, and inexplicably stopped showing up to team meetings, etc. He then simultaneously began posting videos on social media giving the impression he no longer cared. The speeding video was one of them.

During the time he posted the video, his team was making a run for the playoffs, a move they accomplished against the odds because of several injuries to key players including Aiyuk.

17 Year Old Arrested After Police Discover Loaded Stolen Firearm During Traffic Stop

Per SMPD:

“At 3:47am on Sunday, May 31, 2026, San Mateo PD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 3rd Ave. and S. Norfolk St. A loaded firearm was found in possession of the minor driver of the car. Further investigation determined the gun had been reported stolen out of Contra Costa County. The driver was arrested and transported to Hillcrest Juvenile Hall, where he was booked on the below charges.

SWAT Standoff Ends After Alleged Attempted Murder and Threats Against Officers

Per Salinas PD:

“Yesterday, at approximately 4:45pm, officers responded to the 1400 block of Linwood Dr. for a reported stabbing. The victim reported that his roommate, Robert Grisez (67), had stabbed him with a kitchen knife inside the residence. Rosales suffered a deep laceration and was transported to Natividad Medical Center for treatment.

After the stabbing, Grisez barricaded himself inside the residence and repeatedly called dispatch, threatening to shoot responding officers. Due to the threats SWAT was activated. During the standoff, Grisez exited the residence several times, challenging officers to shoot him before retreating back inside.

Grisez was eventually taken into custody by K9 Tyson. Grisez was then transported to Natividad Medical Center for treatment.

After being medically cleared Grisez was lodged at Monterey County Jail for attempted murder.”

SFPD Officer Shot During Officer-Involved Shooting in Bayview District

Per SFPD:

“On May 31, 2026, at approximately 10:29 p.m., San Francisco Police Officers were alerted about a robbery suspect vehicle entering San Francisco from the Bay Bridge. Officers located the vehicle, with two occupants inside, traveling on 5th Street near Folsom Street. Officers attempted to conduct a vehicle stop in the area of Mission and First Streets. The suspect driver fled from officers, leading to a vehicle pursuit. The suspect driver fled through city streets before the vehicle became disabled in the area of Bayshore Boulevard and Jerrold Avenue.

When officers encountered the vehicle, the driver opened fire on SFPD officers and struck one officer multiple times. During the encounter an officer-involved shooting occurred.

The suspect driver fled on foot from the scene and the passenger of the suspect vehicle sustained injuries from the shooting. SFPD officers quickly transported both the injured officer and the injured suspect to a local hospital.

The SFPD officer is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is also being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Additional officers responded to the scene to search for the outstanding suspect. Officers located the suspect in the area of Bayshore Boulevard and Costa Street and took him into custody without incident. Officers also recovered two fi****ms.

This incident is being investigated by the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office; the San Francisco Police Department Investigative Services Division (ISD); the San Francisco Police Department Internal Affairs Division (IAD); and the Department of Police Accountability (DPA).

All information is preliminary and may be subject to change. This remains an open and active investigation. As part of SFPD’s commitment to transparency and accountability, a town hall meeting regarding this officer-involved shooting will be held within ten days.

“Last night an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 14 block of Stone Street after observing a vehicle vehicle code violation (CVC). The driver, Jorge Gonzalez (23), who was on pretrial release for another firearm case and subject to a search.

K9 Ronan, conducted a sniff around the vehicle and alerted to the presence of a firearm. During the search, officers located a loaded 9mm privately manufactured firearm (PMF) concealed beneath the front seat.

Gonzalez was arrested for unlawful possession of the firearm and for committing a new felony offense while out on bail. He was lodged into the Monterey County Jail.”

MAN INJURED IN FREEWAY SHOOTING IN RICHMOND

Per CHP:

“RICHMOND, Calif. — A victim was injured in a freeway shooting late Monday evening in Richmond following a road rage incident on Interstate 80 (I-80).

On May 25, at approximately 7:33 p.m., officers assigned to the California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Oakland Area office were dispatched to a freeway shooting that occurred on eastbound I-80, west of Hilltop Drive.

Responding officers contacted the victim at a secondary location after he exited the freeway to wait for emergency responders. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his right shoulder and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The CHP’s Golden Gate Division Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and opened an investigation. All lanes of eastbound I-80 at El Portal Drive were temporarily closed to allow officers to process the scene. After speaking with the victim and witnesses, it was determined that the shooting occurred following a road rage incident. Detectives are actively working to identify suspect(s) in this incident, and anyone with information is asked to call the CHP Investigative Tipline at (707) 917-4491.

16 Year Old Driver Arrested After Loaded Ghost Gun Found During Traffic Stop

Per SPD:

“At approximately 1:00 a.m., an officer was traveling northbound on Williams Road when they observed a white Mercedes commit a vehicle code violation. The officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted the three occupants of the vehicle. The driver (16), front passenger Kailina Calderon (19), and rear passenger Jeilykah Reyes (18).

During the stop, the juvenile driver was asked to step out of the vehicle. While conducting a pat search, the officer felt a handgun concealed in the juvenile’s waistband. The firearm was determined to be a personally manufactured firearm (PMF) 9mm handgun loaded with five rounds.

The juvenile was lodged at Juvenile Hall.”
