The last few days, I’ve been sharing galleries of families I’ve known for years or families I’ve had the privilege of watching grow. It’s made me pause and realize just how incredibly lucky I am. The people who trust me to document their lives are some of the most genuine, kindhearted, loving humans I know. I get a front row seat to milestones, traditions, laughter, growth, and all the moments in between that make a life beautiful. Photography has given me so much. It’s given me relationships, memories, and a deep appreciation for the incredible community I’m surrounded by. Thank you for letting me preserve your stories. It will never be something I take for granted.

Some sessions feel beautiful while you’re in them, and some stay with you long after they’re over. Austin + Alex’s engagement was one of those days I wish I could relive over and over again. Their families came to celebrate them, and you could feel the love in every moment from their laughter, to the happy tears, the way everyone showed up so fully for these two. Phipps was the place Austin knew Alex had always dreamed of getting engaged at, which made every photo feel even more meaningful. Oh, and their rings? Family heirlooms carrying generations of love! It was one of those perfect days that reminds me why I love photography so much. It’s not for the images, but for the stories, the people, and the moments I know will matter forever. 💛💛💛
PS- I loveeee this location! I’m always down to go to Pittsburgh for photos! 👀
