The Bay Area is home to so many fantastic musicians - accomplished players, brainy and heart-ful composers, big-eared improvisers. Three of these people - Mark Pascucci-Clifford, Safa Shokrai, and Kjell Nordeson - come together as Levitator Trio. Mellanrum Records celebrates the release of their new album, Tough Town, tonight (9/22) at the Paul Dresher Studio space in Oakland, at 7pm. Come hear these brilliant compositions that stride boldly into free improv as the vibes, bass, and drums find balance and disequilibrium, making room for one another and coming back together.
Can’t wait for you to hear this!

Skogen Studio has a beautiful new website that reflects the the studio's inspiring space. Lost in the Woods/Vilse I Skogen was recorded there with Öhman engineering the session (while also playing!). We're looking forward to many more collaborations there.
