Stepped out of my comfort zone this weekend and DJ’d/MC’d a cheerleading competition—and honestly, I was terrified at first. But once I settled in, it turned into a blast! Big shoutout to all the athletes and coaches who crushed it out there. Check out the dance party before we even got started! What a fun way to close out my 2025 season!

Where does the name “DJ Diddy” come from?
The origin story is… wildly unimpressive. I was in high school, minding my own business, when my friends just started calling me “Diddy.” No royalties involved. And yes—this was before the other Diddy decided to borrow the name and make headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Now, despite the questionable PR attached to “Diddy” these days, I’m not changing my DJ name. Why? Because the people who actually know me know exactly what kind of man I am… and none of them have tried to stage an intervention about it yet.

23 years ago, three friends started DJ Diddy Services—just a few college guys looking to make some extra cash. I had no idea that this ‘DJ thing’ would turn into what it is today! From left to right you have DJ Hot Fondue, DJ Diddy and DJ Walk Walker! 99% of the time, you’ll see one of these guys helping make sure your dance, wedding or event run as smoothly as possible. This photo is from my own wedding (since it always seems the 3 of us are never together at an event) where DJ Walk Walker wanted to make sure no one else had the honor of DJing this major life event! And boy did he put on a show! Thank you again to not only these guys but the better halves that allow us to do what we do!!

Our Story

DJ Diddy Services started roughly 15 years ago on a whim and has grown into what you see today. In the early years, I would DJ small parties just to have some extra money in college, never thinking “this DJ thing” would turn out to be something I am very passionate about. Music is something I live for. If you know me, you know I am always listening to music. As we grew, I had 2 best friends help me with set ups and tear downs. As our lives changed, so did the DJ business. I always had friends to help me but that all change in 2011. Cody, or as I like to call him my VP, came aboard and we haven’t looked back. We have continue to grow and provided, what we think, the best DJ Services in the Tri-State area! In 2017, we had to add another DJ, as business continued to grow. Zach Lepley was the man for that. He has been in his own business over 7 years and gladly join our team and help him grow more as a DJ. Also in 2017, we started our digital photo booth. By adding a digital photo booth, all photos taken are sent directly to your smart phone, and we upload individual photos to our album gallery for you to save and share!
