About Me.

My name is Amanda Loubier, I am a photographer and a professional make-up artist, and a videographer available for hire for all 3 or just 1. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Marketing with a minor in photography at the New England School of Communication. I have been licensed by JLS Makeup in Manhattan New York. Why photography is important to me: When I was young my family was hit by the vicious illness of Alzheimer’s. My Grand Meme past when I was young and I never really understood the effects of the disease. My mother’s mom, my Grandma who had always been a rock in my life also got diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s. This hit my family hard, and now that I am older I understand. Some times she did not recognize us and was unsure of who we were when we would visit. But old memories seemed to stick with her and bring her back. This is done through photos. I find the need to capture everything on film, knowing these photos will be used years from now to look back, to remember, to bring families together again. This is why I am behind the lens. My Experience: In 2007 I was crowned Miss Teen Maine 2007. I began my own modeling career. At this time I was also asked to be on the cover of American Cheerleader Magazine (the April/May 2008 issue.) Being in front of the camera myself I know how it feels, I know how to can be scary, and I also know what I needed to hear to calm those fears and to have a great session. I believe that my own experience and my ability to stay with whats on trend keeps clients coming back over the years. I strive to be sure everyone who walks into my studio leaves happy. Customer service is top on my priority list, aside from delivering amazing photographs. I have been in business for 11 years.
