Rose the Storylady shares interactive stories that will warm your heart and bring the Christmas spirit into your lives. Rose is the mother of seven children and the grandmother of 26. She has more than fifty years of storytelling experience and has been privileged to tell Christmas stories on Temple Hill for over twelve years.

Join us for the 40th annual Messiah sing-along event, Sunday, December 7th at 7:00 PM in the Oakland Temple Hill Auditorium! Every year, we gather to play and sing excerpts from Handel’s beloved Messiah oratorio. This year’s sing-along event will be hosted by The Musical Arts Performance Company, under the direction of Lori Landin, accomplished conductor, director and performer.

We are pleased to announce that additional free ticket reservations for the Nutcracker Ballet at Temple Hill will release Monday, Dec 1st at 10 AM at https://templehill.org/event/nutcracker-ballet-dec-12-700-pm/.  After tallying tickets that have been returned, we are able to release a limited number of additional seats.

Additionally, standby seating will be available, and historically, we’ve never turned anyone away. Tickets will expire 10 min before the performance, and the standby line will be admitted to fill any empty seats. So if you miss getting tickets, just arrive early and get in the standby line. Chances are high that you’ll be seated.

The public is invited to tour the newly renovated Oakland California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The open house will take place Saturday, May 11, through Saturday June 1, but will be closed on Sundays (May 12, 19 and 26). Reservations for free tours can be made through oaklandtemple.org.
