JOY (noun): A feeling of great pleasure and happiness.

I have felt an overwhelming amount of joy in my life over the past month, and as always it’s a direct result of the people around me, the experiences we get to share together, and helping each other figure out this weird, complicated thing called life. No matter what happens, the beat goes on.

So…I am MARRIED now(!), to an incredible person. Molly balances out my craziness, reminds me to be patient, and is my biggest supporter on the dancefloor. We even got to go back to back for a set at our own disco-themed wedding y’all! It was a special moment. We are fairly private people, but trying to get better at sharing our lives with you on social media…more to come from the wedding once the pro photos and vids come back. No matter how much you know us, know that we love you all very much. I hope you all find your Dancing Queen in due time.

This Friday I’m bringing .sf back to .sf for our second party of the spring! We’ve got & rounding out an awesome lineup for soul-soothing funky disco house all night long. Party is free before 11, I’m on at 10. Sunshine tracks, anyone?

Saturday I’m back with my good buddy . Our last few all night B2Bs at Roxy’s have been the stuff of legend. I expect nothing less this go-round…

My dog decided to take a more active role in DJing while I was resetting my equipment the other day. Peep that smile on the last slide…he wants to groove. 🐶🥹

Yo last week was wild…

First up was a Thursday school night Electric Disco with the amazing .music & ! Vibes were so high. Many many thanks to .panda.dj & for putting together an incredible evening!

Friday we celebrated Liam .sf with a glorious, impromptu 2hr B2B with my buddy . Vibes continued to be high!

Saturday I made my return to and we upped the B2B ante with a 4.5hr B2B with my buddy . Truly a special time when we unite on the decks. And this time, we were rolling with Jesus! Thank you to whoever gave us tiny Jesus, my little pony, and my mushroom hair clip. I’ll be turning tiny Jesus into a keychain for my USB shortly. Heavenly tunes ahead…

Why yes indeed…last week was my birthday. 🥳🎂 Thank you so much for coming to celebrate at our first full club build out of .sf .sf ! It was a memory I will keep in my 🩵 forever. 🤗🪩

I have a couple of awesome shows coming up this weekend! Tonight I’m for .music & ‘s Electric Disco! Amazing lineup… .panda.dj , , & downstairs with me, hosting open decks upstairs! I play 11-12. Come boogie! 👄⚡️🪩

I’ll be stopping by .sf Friday night to spin in honor of the one and only .hallich ‘s birthday! Aries gang unite! ♈️🐏

Saturday night I’m hella stoked to return to to play with my buddy ! Love the disco vibes at this venue and when I go B2B with Mark there it has proven to be a thing of beauty. 🪩🪩🪩

First full week returning to office had me feelin like a real Severance innie.🔪🧠😪🧑‍💻But we live for the weekend, and I let my outtie shine in a new genre, ripping some Latin house with my buddy & his crew for L’Ascencion .sf!

It started with a little seedling of an idea…Could I could take a simple lighting effect, my love of disco music, and a diverse lineup of DJs to help build the SF dance community on a Thursday night? Enter: La Discothèque!

If you’ve gotten to experience one of our first Thursday parties , you’ve seen the joy on my face as we’ve built our La Discothèque community bigger month by month. Thanks for coming and dancing with us!

This party has grown, and my little baby is getting bigger! Saturday, March 29th I’m excited to bring La Discothèque to .sf , the new big sister venue from the founder of . I’ll be building out the experience well beyond my simple lighting trick to include full visuals, photo ops, vendors, and of course plenty of disco balls. Lineup and full announcement drops this week. 🤘🏼🪩

Part of my work outside of DJing is as an emergency responder, and last year I had the opportunity to support the emergency response efforts in Maui. One of the small glimmers of joy in an extremely difficult time was packing my controller and cobbling together two beach renegades during our brief time off of work. It was great to get to share some music with an incredible, resilient community. The work was extremely challenging, and I was constantly reminded to keep finding light, hope, and joy in the face of darkness.

This February I’ll be spending significant time working to support our response in LA. We have over 1000 people on the ground already, many of whom began our recovery efforts well before the fires had been put out. There are many ways you can help support the recovery, and every bit counts. Please reach out to me if you’d like some ideas on how to support, or if you’d like more info on what we do!

Wild times were had ! A formidable disco crew led by & with on the sax, B2B .panda.dj & B2B tapped in and we did the thang. 🤘🏼🪩

I felt so much love on the dancefloor and in the DJ booth throughout this show. It was such a pleasure to play B2B with my buddy .panda.dj . We complement each others’ energy so well, and those soulful house tracks Black Panda digs deep for kept our set movin and funky. Bless ya!

Most hearty thanks to the homie for assembling this amazing crew under one umbrella. You are the best. Thanks big time to for snagging photos and to for always being my dance partner.

Appreciation post for .sf on the eve of your official opening night! The gang had a chance to play a soft opening party at Paname while the paint was still drying and finishing touches were being finalized, and CAN CONFIRM it’s the hottest new spot in North Beach. As a long time veteran DJing at it’s been awesome to see ownership expand to include its new big sister venue next door. The new sound system slaps, and LASERS LASERS LASERS all day!

DJ Buddies & .dj all brought the heat for our soft opening party and we had hella fun. Félicitations, .sf ! 🥳🥳

2025 this one’s for YOU! Thank YOU all for making 2024 truly special for DJ U.S. Grant. 35 wild & unique shows last year! Your positivity, love, and energy is why I DJ, and I can’t wait to see what a new year of dancefloor delights bring us. Stay positive y’all, we’re gonna get through 2025 together!

January is about resolutions. I resolve to DJ in a cowboy hat this year. That’s all I’m promising. 🤠 But I also promise you some amazing shows to come dance along with me this month…

Friday, January 17th I’m STOKED to make my debut going B2B my favorite funky bear in the business .panda.dj . Spirits will be extremely high as brings together disco demons & for what is sure to be a hella funky time.
