☀️ Good Morning~

📖 The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
~~Proverbs 4:18

I liked this verse for this morning because it reminds me that not everything has to come into focus all at once.

Some things get clearer slowly.

I think I need that reminder sometimes, especially when I want answers sooner, movement sooner, or a better sense of where something is headed. But God does not seem nearly as troubled by the gradual as I am.

There is something comforting in that… the thought that light can come a little at a time and still be enough for where I am right now.

That felt worth sitting with this morning.

☀️ Good Morning~

📖 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3

Some mornings I can feel how scattered my thoughts want to be before the day even really starts.

This verse makes me slow down when that happens.

Not because it promises a life without noise or pressure, but because it reminds me where steadiness actually comes from. I do not create it by thinking harder, planning better, or trying to get ahead of everything.

It comes from turning my mind back toward God instead of letting it run wild in every direction.

And I need that reminder more often than I probably want to admit.

There is a difference between carrying a day and clenching it. I think that is what sat with me this morning.

☀️ Good Morning ~

📖 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy
~Psalm 16:11

This verse this morning made me think about how easy it is to move through a day without really being in it.

Sometimes life starts feeling like one thing after another, and before I know it, I’m hurrying through moments that probably deserved a little more of me.

So, this morning I found myself thinking about how much of life is made up of small things that don’t look important at the time… a quiet start, a kind word, a bit of laughter, a moment of gratitude that comes and goes quickly if I’m not paying attention.

I guess that’s what felt poignant to me today… just the reminder not to miss my life while I’m busy living it. And through God's Word I can enjoy and find joy in my life path.

That was on my mind this morning.
