Village Academy is a small centered school designed to educate and motivate children to perform at their highest ability in addition to our curriculum which follows the California State Standards, we specialize in using an Integrated Approach to learning instead of presenting each subject separate. The Integrated Approach allows the opportunity to experience a wholistic education. It connects
the students with who they are , what they are learning, and the whole world around them
Character building is a main component educational curriculum. We recognize children's character and self-image should be nurtured and shaped continuously. We also acknowledge that how a child feels about herself is a high determining factor of how she will perform in the classroom and in the world. Through self-esteem building techniques, morning circle affirmations and resolution strategies, our students are actively building positive, affirming, strong, and confident images of themselves and others! Village Academy is strategically small while being enormous in excitement, creative engaging academic activity! The students are involved with each other as well independently pursuing their own academic tasks that is designed for their specific level! In addition to the commitment to high academic standards, B.E.A.M.S is a highly driven performing and creative art school. All students are provided the opportunity to express themselves through creative writing, drama, dance,& singing consistently and on a weekly basis!
