“If San Francisco was a person standing right in front of you… what would you say to them?”

At Love Thy City, hosted by Make It Mariko at The Foundry SF, I set up a small interview station and asked attendees one simple question.

The idea was inspired by the Fifty People, One Question films I remember seeing years ago. The simplicity of asking strangers a single thoughtful question always stayed with me, and it felt like the right way to capture the spirit of this gathering.

Many of the people in this video are the founders, vendors, and event professionals who help bring San Francisco’s gatherings and creative experiences to life.

The responses were gracious, heartfelt, and full of love.
