A most blessed New Year to you!! As a new year begins, this is a time that people often feel refreshed and hopeful, welcoming the chance to leave behind what they see as past failures, shortcomings, and challenges, and have a fresh new start!

And our Lord, in His love and mercy, does offer this to His people! In fact, He offers it not just at the beginning of a new year, but every single day! He tells us in the Bible book of Lamentations, Chapter 3, verses 22 and 23, "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness"!

The trick is to KNOW Him - to turn to Him, confessing our sins, and asking Him to lead our life as our Lord and Savior. And then we find a COMPLETE fresh start, as we read in the Bible Book 2nd Corinthians Chapter 5, Verse 17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new"!!

So we pray that you do take advantage of this fresh start- of a new day... a new year... and as a new creature (- or CONTINUING as a new creature-) in Christ! And join us daily on FirstLoveRadio, as we continue to learn, and grow, and rejoice, following our Lord throughout the new year!

A very blessed Christmas to each of you from your brothers and sisters at First Love Radio! “O Happy Day!” is a gospel song by the Edwin Hawkins Singers that made it to the top of the charts during the late 60's and early 70's worldwide! Our current guest, Miss Lillie Knauls, with her radiant smile and festive hats, who herself has been used mightily by the Lord, was a singer in that choir, and explains the mysterious way that happened! She also became one of the singers featured on the Bill & Gloria Gaither Homecoming television program, videos, and tours!

A most blessed Thanksgiving to each and every one of our listeners and followers!! Although we're thankful every day for you, whether you support us by listening to FirstLoveRadio.org or one of our programs or podcasts, or avidly support us through financial donations and/or prayer, it's so lovely to have a day that's set aside to officially thank you, and thank God for you!

As John Donne famously wrote, "No man is an island," and we're so thankful to our faithful God and to you that we're standing together in seeking, growing in, and sending out, the truth in God's Word around the world! And together, we can do as Psalm 79 Verse 13 says, "So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forters"!h thy praise to all generations"!

May our Heavenly Father bless you all mightily, and supply your every need! Have a most wonderful day, and season, of gratefulness and thanksgiving! And as it says in 1 Thessalonians Chapter 1 Verse 2, "We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers"!
