We dig rad music and Oakland antics. We plan to supply you with plenty of both. So friends, this is all of our melodrama. Let’s all just try to have a little fun.

OIM Records is an Oakland based record label run by indie promoter Sarah Sexton (Oaktown Indie Mayhem) who has worked for music industry giants such as Bandcamp, AEG, and High Road Touring; and Producer Jeff Saltzman (The Killers, Blondie). The label began in 2015 with the extra flair of co-founder Angelica Tavella (TV Heads, Oakland Drops Beats) after the trio joined forces to record & release OI

M: Vol I, a compilation of Bay Area artists. Since then the label has released several full length records by local favorites, along with their second Bay Area compilation, OIM: Vol II. Check out the “sampler platter” playlist on our website for a small taste of what you can expect from past & future releases as OIM continues to create opportunities for artists to share their art with the world and make all of our days just a little bit brighter. Even now, as the world rages forward through what have become often isolating and tumultuous times, art continues to be made, and to heal as well.

While this is just the debut ep from these moon groovers, we think it glimmers with hints of all the magical collaboration to come from these two. It also reminds us of the incomprehensible joys of friendships of all types; spontaneous, intermittent,lifelong.

A collection of artists that have been stretching beyond the realms of your audio limits. Travellers that have been collection the nectar of sounds that you have not even conceived yet. Pilgrims of beyond the bind.

This is a project that we have been meaning to make for a while but in the end compiled itself. A compilation of artists you may not have heard but soon you’ll hear a lot about.

This is one of the most interesting tracks we ever done came across.It honestly feels like it reveals something different on every listen. There is such a mischievous and magical element to the way time bends and melts when you've got it on in your headphones. Space seems a little more malleable, I reckon.
