Filipino Heritage Night Vegas Ballpark
Fil-Ams in Las Vegas, Nevada showed out and strength in numbers were visible throughout the ballpark. We took front and center showcasing our heritage and culture when we hosted the Las Vegas Aviators in the city’s first-ever Filipino Heritage Night at the Las Vegas Ballpark. With over 250,000 Filipinos living in Southern Nevada, the evening turned the 10,000-seat stadium into a vibrant celebration of our community. The most well attended game of the season for the Aviators.
The event featured a festive parade, cultural presentations, and local vendors, filling the park with symbols and sounds of the Philippines. The highlight of the evening was the ceremonial first pitch by a 90 year old well-known community leader for decades and an instrumental figure spearheading the Las Vegas’ Filipino Town cultural district, Dra. Rocita V. Lee.
It was a night to remember. It is nice to see our culture to be honored and moments like these remind us that we belong and that our story matters. MABUHAY!
We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the 1st ever Filipino Heritage Night Vegas Ballpark. To all our sponsors, vendors, event partners and volunteers. Thank you very much in behalf of RakStedy Events and 2 The Next Level and of course to the Man above who have blessed us tremendously to pull this off. All Glory to him.
Shout out to Las Vegas Aviators for giving us the space and letting us have a festival and parade. It was truly an honor to be working with them specially to Bryan and his team. They were top notch and always on top. Special mention to our team, JayR, Toni, Angelica with Charlene leading the charge.
Hoping to do more FHN in the near future.
Once again, MARAMING MARAMI PONG SALAMAT!
