The baseball team takes on Springfield Northwestern today at home in their first tournament game this year. Tomorrow’s pitcher, Josh Tribble, has been preparing for the start. Tribble commented that, “To prepare for this upcoming playoff game, I went to the batting cages. We also had practice today so I made sure to dial in and work on what I thought I need the most for tomorrow. I threw a flat ground/Bullpen because I’ll be starting on the mound tomorrow, and the team worked on situational hitting to help higher our chances of winning even more,” This is the teams first ever game against Springfield Northwestern in the past two decades. -Lucas QR

This summer, the Speech and Debate Team are going to Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa. The Lincoln Douglas team is preparing for their new topic. “I’m very excited to be going to nationals this year. This Tuesday, Oakwood’s Track and Field team hosted their first meet of the season. Kate Autrey(9) throws shot put for the team and finished in 4th place. “I love being with my teammates and throwing far,” Autrey said.
