R.A.D. CLASS!

The Marion County Sheriff's Office is hosting a R**e Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) Program at our Training Building (692 NW 30th Ave in Ocala). This program teaches realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques for women. It's a comprehensive course which begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing to the basics of hands-on defense training. This is a FREE course taught in four 3-hour sessions, each session begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm.

Our June course consists of these following sessions:

June 17, 2025 (Mandatory)
June 19, 2025
June 24, 2025
June 26, 2025

Your attendance is confidential and this class is a safe place for women to learn how to protect themselves against threats in a variety of situations. This class is suitable for ages 13 and up, and wearing comfortable/workout clothing is recommended.
