Casual conversation at the show with turned into serious discussion about growing up as the kid who was different, louder, or a lot to handle…and how that may have been a foreshadowing of how we pursued our own ambitions as founders. The discovery? Being a kid with big dreams, often told to “be realistic”, is not an obstacle…it is a superpower. You just have to find confidence in those dreams and yourself to pursue it with your whole heart.

Polo has proven it can exist far beyond manicured lawns and the shoreline may be its most compelling stage yet.

On Singer Island, one of the world’s oldest sports is trading large grass fields for open sand, and the result is something entirely its own. The Singer Island Beach Polo Classic brings polo out of its traditional venue and onto the shoreline, with the action unfolding in the soft sands of the coast and the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop.

Beach polo takes the essence of the game—the speed, the athleticism, the precision between horse and rider—and compresses it into a smaller, faster field of play. This Horse Of The Month is certainly one to look out for! 🐎

FLÜGEL DER FREIHEIT, known simply as “Flügel” around the barn, is a horse whose trajectory over the past year has been nothing short of remarkable. Within a program designed to produce top-level Grand Prix horses, formed by partners Katherine Kaneb, Charlie and Nicole Jayne, and Declan and Cassie Orpen, Flügel is already proving himself to be “a horse for the future,” says Declan Orpen. In just eight months, the vision for Flügel has already begun to take shape.

Presently competing consistently at the 1.50m level with rider , Flügel has quickly established himself as a serious contender in some of the most competitive rings in the country. His results speak not only to his talent, but to his reliability and composure under pressure. Among his standout performances are a second-place finish in a $40,000 National Grand Prix in Nashville, a third-place result in the $50,000 WEC Ohio Grand Prix, and top placings in multiple Welcome Prix events across the Midwest. He claimed wins in Welcome Prix classes in both Ohio and Chicago, placed in a Kentucky Welcome Prix at the 1.45m level, and has consistently finished inside the ribbons in his Grand Prix appearances — including placing in both $30,000 and $60,000 Grand Prix classes at WEC Ohio...

With a successful record in Europe under several riders and notable FEI wins before making his way to the U.S., Chaccossini, affectionately known as “Sharky”, has continued to shine in his new partnership with rider, Corinne Sweeney. In just six months together, the pair have already achieved exciting milestones; earning Corinne her first Grand Prix and FEI victories and stepping up to their first 1.50m classes over the summer.
