🚨 MORE THAN 30 SHOTS FIRED — TWO ARRESTED AFTER MOTHER & 5-YEAR-OLD SHOT IN OCALA

Ocala Police announced a major development in Monday night’s shooting of a family near SE 11th Avenue and SE 12th Street.

Police identified Kentrai Re’shone Patterson, 28, as the alleged shooter and arrested him on charges including attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Kedonte Tyron Davis, 26, whose Chevrolet Impala investigators linked to the shooting through license-plate-reader technology, was arrested as an alleged accessory.

According to investigators, surveillance footage showed the Impala following the family’s vehicle before the shooting.

🔴 Neighborhood audio reportedly captured MORE THAN 30 GUNSHOTS being fired during the attack.

The mother was struck in the hand, while her 5-year-old child suffered serious injuries to the torso. Both were reported in stable condition.

🚨 THIS INVESTIGATION IS NOT OVER.

Ocala Police say detectives are still working to identify a third passenger who was allegedly inside the Impala at the time of the shooting.

The arrests were announced September 17, marking a major development after police initially reported no arrests.

These are allegations. Both defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

Anyone with information about the unidentified third person or the shooting should contact law enforcement.

🕷️😂 A Lesson Learned: Don’t Mess With a Man’s Tarantulas! 😂🕷️

Apparently, there are two things you should never assume… when someone is in jail, and that is that they don’t want their pets back! 😅

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, a 37-year-old Ocala woman was arrested after she allegedly sold a man’s collection of exotic pet tarantulas while he was incarcerated. The spiders reportedly included a Green Bottle Blue, Golden Knee Chaco, Brazilian Vera Cruz, and three Pink Toe tarantulas, with the collection valued at approximately $590.

Investigators say the victim returned home after his release only to discover his prized tarantulas were gone. During the investigation, it was alleged that the spiders had been sold because they were expensive to care for and there were concerns about them being around younger children.

The woman was arrested and charged with dealing in stolen property and second-degree petit theft. She is scheduled to appear in court on August 4 at 9:00 a.m.

🕸️ Moral of the story: You may not understand someone’s hobby, but don’t underestimate the bond between people and their pets. Whether it’s a dog, cat, snake… or six exotic tarantulas, they still belong to someone.

😂 One thing is for sure… that man does NOT play about his pet tarantulas! 🕷️
