Hot take: Social media isn't your sales team.
I know, I know. Every business owner wants to see their social media turn into customers. But expecting every post to generate immediate sales is one of the quickest ways to get frustrated with your (or your team's) marketing efforts.
Social media's job is to help people discover your business, get to know you, and build trust over time.
Think about it this way: How often do you buy from a business you've never heard of before?
Most of us don't!
We buy from businesses that feel familiar, we've seen consistently, and we trust.
That's why showing up regularly, sharing value, and building relationships matters so much. The sales often come later.
Did you know social media isn't meant to be your sales team? Or is this a perspective shift for you?
