I’ve only done mosaic a few times. Teaching myself. The grout needs to be darker, next time.

I seem to be going through a cat phase. These two have been made mostly from glass tiles, with fishing line whiskers that don't show up well in the photo. Hopefully they will make people smile as they pass by.

Sharing my first bird bath, I kept some of the original white wash effects as I feel it deserved to be highlighted and it blended well with the tile colours I chose, really happy with the end result, seeing I just “winged “it!

Bowers Jewelry... the jeweler your friends recommend.

Since 1952, our focus has been constant . . . exceptional jewelry at exceptionally fair prices, paired with exceptional customer service. Our modern, yet comfortable store will provide you with beautiful, hand-selected jewelry of all styles. With the "Bowers Jewelry" name on the box, you can be confident that the jewelry inside is the best in quality, style, and function.

Bowers Jewelry, a family owned and operated business, has been growing each year since the doors opened in 1952. What began as a single showcase and workbench operation inside a small general store has grown into an expansive showroom with expert jewelers, designers, and a highly skilled professional staff.

The original “Bowers Jewelers” store was opened in 1952 as a small counter and repair bench inside a general store in Huntington, Indiana. Ralph Bowers was the mastermind behind this new jewelry adventure, as he was forced to leave the railroad industry when polio took the use of his legs. Soon, he ventured into his own storefront location, and the business began to grow in jewelry sales, jewelry repair, and watch and clock repair.

Ralph’s wife, Geraldine, eventually joined him at the business. Their oldest son, Gene, and wife, Susie, began working in the early 1970s. Their younger son, Bob, also came to work at Bowers Jewelers in Huntington in 1970. Bob and his wife, Diana, worked at the original Bowers Jewelers in Huntington until 1983 when they opened a second location in North Manchester, Indiana.
