Psalm 31:19–20 shows that God’s goodness —it’s real, personal, and powerful.

God’s not holding back; He’s been stacking up blessings for you like treasures waiting for the right moment.

When the time comes, He doesn’t trickle them out—He pours them over your life, showing you and everyone watching that His love is active and alive.

And when the world turns messy or people come against you, He pulls you close, hiding you in His presence where no shame or harm can reach.

That’s the kind of God He is—steady, generous, and fiercely protective of the ones who trust Him. ❤️

Sometimes we think having the favor of God is all about ‘lights, camera, action’. The story of Mary changes everything…

She was "highly favored" but was almost put away by the man she loved the most.

"Highly favored" but she was rejected by every person in Bethlehem.

"Highly Favored" but she laid on the dirt floor of a barn and gave birth to a baby she carried nine months.

"Highly Favored" but in the middle of the night had to leave all she knew and move to a strange town because God said so.

Favor never looks like favor at first.

Favor sometimes takes you through frustration, failure, and fear. You want to be favored of God? It may be in darkest night or deepest valley. But there in that place where no one sees you and you feel like no one understands whisper to yourself, "this is only the beginning not the end. This will turn out for my good and His glory. This is because...I'm Favored."

I love this. You will never regret reading God’s Word. It’s full of life, power, wisdom, and everything you need to live a Godly life. ❤️

Four years.
It took me four years to completely read through the Bible.

It began with an app.
Listening while pushing a stroller.
Listening while nursing a baby.
Listening at bedtime.

Then, slowly, verses became highlighted and memorized.
Stories earmarked.
Words circled.
Phrases boxed with pencil.

A sacred, muddled and redeeming journey.

My younger sister once said something that really struck my heart...
..she could never imagine getting to Heaven, coming face-to-face with God, and telling Him that she simply did not have time to read HIS Book. His ultimate love letter. His Word. His life guide for each of us.

What a humbling and powerful statement.

There's never a better time to pick up His Word.
Even more so, there's never been a better time to start a relationship with our Savior.

For He has never left.
You are never too far gone.
He's been right here waiting all along.
And He is not going anywhere but right by our sides.

My sister's words still surround my heart-even on those days I feel completely unworthy of His love and grace.

Our Bibles don't need to be perfect. Messy, marked up and circled truths are just as beautiful as our sin meeting God's grace. May we let the margins hold our prayers, tears stains and and words of gratitude-just as we let our Heavenly Father hold our guilt and fears-while simultaneously covering us with His undeserved favor and blessings.

I could never imagine getting to Heaven and trying to explain to God why I didn't have time to read His Word.

So, I'm reading it again.

Because, I'd love nothing more than to tell Him, "Heavenly Father, Your Word was so beautifully life-changing, I looked forward to reading it each and every day!" ♥️

The quicker we obey God the less we have to fight the battles in our mind. Delay is what always the enemy to come in and harass you.

Have you ever felt like sometimes... everything is just shifting? Plans fall apart. Emotions go up and down. The news changes every five minutes. And apparently, glasses hide next to carrots now (yes, I once lost my glasses in the veggie drawer for an entire week!).

In all the chaos, we need something—someone—who never changes.
That's exactly what we're diving into this week: "I am the Lord, and I do not change." — Malachi 3:6

We're unpacking the Hebrew (lo shaniti—it's beautiful, I promise), talking about what it means that God's character toward you NEVER shifts, and asking the question: Where has life felt unpredictable lately?

Because here's the truth that'll carry you through this whole week:
Everything around me may change—but my God never changes.

Not His love. Not His presence. Not His faithfulness. Not His heart for you.
Same God on the mountain. Same God in the valley. Same God when you're thriving and when you're storing your sanity next to the broccoli.
