10 Tips for Rainy Day Wedding Backup Plans: Don’t Let the Rain Put a Damper!

1. Hire a Planner and start planning early!
2. Check the weather frequently.
3. Work with your venue to create an indoor and outdoor plan.
4. Reserve a tent (just in case!)
5. Buy a matching umbrella (that fits with your wedding theme!)
6. Identify alternate ceremony and reception locations.
7. Use wedding planning apps for last-minute modifications.
8. Be in constant communication with your vendors!
9. Protect your guests– have plenty of rain gear/umbrellas on site!
10. Stay calm and embrace the fun of it!
