HIGH SCHOOL FIELD HOCKEY
A monumental win for the Indian River High School field hockey team yesterday as they defeated perennial power Delmar, 3-0, in a Henlopen Athletic Conference South Division tilt.

Seniors Kacie Kirschner, Brynn Knight, and Baylie Williamson each scored a goal for the Indians in this one. The win was the first over Delmar in 19 years! IR's record is now 6-1 overall, while Delmar falls to 1-5 in their first season without head coach Jodi Hollamon.

Next up for the Indians is a home date with Odessa in a non-conference matchup against the Ducks on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
