This emotional photo was reportedly captured in India by photographer Avinash, showing a mother monkey holding her unconscious baby moments after it collapsed.
Primates such as monkeys form extremely strong bonds with their babies. A mother usually carries, protects, and grooms her infant constantly for months.
When a baby becomes injured or unresponsive, the mother may continue holding it for hours or even days, unable to understand why it is no longer reacting.
Wildlife researchers have documented similar behavior in chimpanzees, baboons, and macaques, where mothers show signs of distress after losing an infant.
What makes this image especially heartbreaking is the mother’s expression and posture. She appears to be crying out while tightly clutching the baby, almost as if she is desperately trying to wake it up.

In 2016, an Indian expatriate living in Dubai named Mohammad Basheer experienced one of the strangest streaks of luck imaginable.
Before boarding Emirates Flight EK521 from India to Dubai, he purchased a Dubai Duty Free lottery ticket at the airport, something many travelers do on impulse without expecting much.
Hours later, the flight crash-landed at Dubai International Airport and burst into flames. Miraculously, all 300 people onboard survived after a chaotic emergency evacuation.
The dramatic incident made headlines worldwide because of the terrifying images of the burning aircraft and how narrowly passengers escaped death.
But Basheer’s story became even more unbelievable afterward. Not long after surviving the crash, he learned that the lottery ticket he had bought before boarding was actually a winning ticket worth about $1 million.

A Chinese father, known online as Chen, found himself completely stranded in South Korea because his creative 4-year-old son decided his passport was the perfect blank canvas.

During a family vacation, the toddler found a black gel pen and went to town on his dad’s official document. He drew hair, a beard, and a distinctly wider face over Chen's passport photo, completely obscuring his eyes.

The rest of the page was covered in doodles of animals, stick figures, and wild scribbles.

When the family arrived at the airport to return home to China, border control took one look at the heavily modified document and refused to let Chen pass. The computerized recognition scanners couldn't read it, and officers couldn't verify his identity.

While his wife and son were allowed to return home, Chen had to stay behind in South Korea, completely stuck. He posted the hilarious yet frustrating image on social media, asking for advice on how to get home.
