Book Mail from Author Corinne Michaels 😻 I couldn’t be more grateful! This lovely character ARC from Never Been Tamed of MMC Ares Pierce absolutely made my day. This small town romance is coming soon on October 6th. It will take us back to Heartstone Ranch with book two in the series. If you love cowgirls and city boys, fake dating and age gap romances then you must add this to your TBR. Thank you to Corinne Michaels and the team, I am thrilled to read this early.

Let’s do a yes, no, maybe with the books I read this month, and what I thought of them. I jumped around genre wise, from mafia romance, to romantasy, dystopian, contemporary sports and even dark fantasy. My favorite reads of the month was The Heartstring Duet, Crown me Dead and Crown me Yours by Liv Zander. What’s one of your favorite books from this past month, friends?

Oceanside is one of my favorite spots in the San Diego area, especially when it comes to beach days. The pier area is an excellent base to catch some surf, take a walk along the pier or boardwalk, grab a yummy treat or snag a fun rental. And of course a beach visit would be incomplete without a current read. I brought along Thornbird by E. Kennedy, a YA thriller. Thanks to Hambright PR for the copy!

Because I Killed Him by Edith Birde explores a dystopian world that is ripe with injustice, mystery and politics. There’s science verging on magical, there’s incredible world building a a complex, slow burn romance. I really enjoyed this and can’t wait to see where the story goes next.

Putting yourself out there can be tough, but there are meaningful rewards that come when we take a chance, push our edges and do something vulnerable. Putting myself out there this way on social media was intimidating at first, but I’ve grown so much in the process. It’s been amazing to connect to so many rad people, and I’m grateful for for the journey and for all of you. 🥰
