Earlier this month, The Brother Benno Foundation opened up their new market! Brother Benno's have served the Oceanside homeless and working poor community for decades and this is their next step in providing support.

The market is stocked with fresh food with the help of more than 40 North County grocery stores! Its available Monday-Saturday so check it out if you or someone you know is in need!

Today KOCT went around North County to check out a couple of I Love A Clean San Diego's cleanup spots today! They are still cleaning at these locations for little bit, until noon, so if you are in the area head over and help out the community! All of the locations can be found on their website! We love a clean San Diego!

Last night delicious bites were shared at the SoCal Sports Complex for this year's Oside Flavor! The Osider Magazine and PierClub put on the event to bring together the local chefs and community of Oceanside for a great time, with music and other activities! Hope to see you out there next year!

Today KOCT kicked off our afterschool program working with local middle schools, today at Lincoln Middle School! We will spend the next month giving students at the hands on experience with video production and storytelling. We look forward to what the students are able to create!

It was the final edition of Oceanside Art Walk this last friday, September 5th! KOCT captured the sights and sounds of the Oceanside community coming together for local art, music and crafts of all sorts. A wonderful celebration for 12 years of this creative event in our city!

On this day we join our City and its first reponders for their annual memorial in remembrance of those who gave their lives on 9/11 so that the City of Oceanside, members of our Oceanside Fire Department & our Oceanside Community will Never Forget this important day.
