KOCT stepped into the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza for Oceanside’s very first Ukulele Festival, put on by the City of Oceanside Public Library & Romero Creations! The festival featured lots of fun activities, including multiple ukulele performances, vendors, & workshops for all levels taught by Daniel Ho & Bernadette Teaches Music. Father-daughter duo Pepe & Sophia Romero shared how much it meant to them that the Ukulele Community came out & celebrated their love of music at this festival, & they hope it returns as an annual event!

The City of Oceanside Public Library & Romero Creations have partnered to host the first-ever Oceanside Ukulele Festival, which is coming up this Saturday, October 10th, from 11am-5pm in the Civic Center Plaza! Come enjoy this free event with lots of vendors, ukulele performances, & ukulele workshops for all levels! The Library also now offers ukuleles that can be checked out just like books, so be sure to place a hold on one now!
