Writer/ Publisher Kyle KJ Kaminski will be back at San Diego Comic Con this week with Johnny Parker II & Neat-O Comics table N-14 in small press. Kyle recently pitched in on a project for Johnny's class, where the school kids made their own anthology comic called Motherboard. 30 years ago a group of high school friends gave birth to a group of characters and a cautionary tale of a future that seems even more relevant today. Co-creators Kyle KJ Kaminski and Jason Krause debuted the core members of the team of flawed sci-fi heroes in a pair of anthology comics. This was supposed to be the start of a larger story and world. But that was it.
After decades of dreams, those characters returned in 2017 with the 4-issue The Resistants: The Broadcast Offensive mini-series the Kestrel one-shot by co-creator/ writer K.J. Kaminski & artist Jason Johnson.

Now 30 years in the making, this first collection includes all five issues drawn by Jason Johnson, plus the original stories with co-creator Jason Krause, along with a never before published chapter from 1996, remastered and recolored by . The best thing about conventions is being able to get original art from your favorite artists. The Resistants artist Jason Johnson does most of his work digitally, so his con sketches are extremely rare, like this Fulcrum piece from 2016.
