The Reopening of the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was accompanied by an incredible array of both String Playing and well known Performing Guests from around the world.
Here, is a performance of the Handel/Halvorsen Passacaglia.

Crawford Gates was a prolific and vital American Composer. He wrote nearly 900 works. The Oconomowoc Chamber Orchestra recently premiered 2 of his works. He wrote the Fanfare for Lake Country for them, and a violin/piano piece for me. He and his wife Georgia, just before he passed, shared information on video, about his life, compositions and path in music. These videos will be shared in the ZMI Conversations: Crawford & Georgia Gates series on YouTube.com.
