Weather Director at CBS7, Craig first learned a lot about weather while sailing with his father up and down the Pacific coast. He attended Orange Coast College in California and Midland College right here in West Texas. He worked for KCRS radio for seven years before coming to intern at

KOSA-TV from 1991-1994 at which time he became main Weather Anchor. Craig has received recognition as the best Weathercast in the Permian Basin and 2nd best Weathercast, State of Texas Division II. He enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, working in the yard, surfing and snorkeling, traveling, and throwing Frisbee.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for portions of Southeast New Mexico and West Texas through 11 PM CDT this evening. Primary threats include large hail up to 2 inches in diameter possible and wind gusts to 70 mph possible. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce tornadoes.
