The OC Sports Center will host NCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball on Sunday, December 14, 2025 when Texas Tech faces Abilene Christian. Tip-off between the Lady Red Raiders and Wildcats is scheduled for 2:00pm.

The December 14th game will be the first NCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball game played inside the OC Sports Center.

Currently, the two teams have winning records entering the month of December. Texas Tech (9-0) is undefeated through nine games this season. The Lady Red Raiders sit just outside the Top 25 as they are receiving votes in both the Associated Press and Coaches Polls. Abilene Christian (5-3) has been in every game they have played so far this season as their three losses have come by a combined 10 points.

Two current Texas Tech players, Sarengbe and Mariam Sanogo played for the Wranglers in 2023-24 season helping OC to the National Tournament.

This will be the eleventh all time meeting between the two teams and the first matchup on a neutral court. Texas Tech leads the all-time series 8-2.

All tickets are general admission and are $15.00 per person. If you would like to purchase tickets ahead of time they are on sale through the Tech Ticket Office at: https://texastech.evenue.net/events/ODESSA

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door on December 14th only. Those interested in group tickets should contact the Texas Tech Ticket Office directly.

We’re helping hand out bags of food to families in need, sharing gratitude and supporting our community during this season of giving. If you’re in the area, come see us — we’d love to say hello and make sure you get everything you need!

OC Students — get ready for Thanksgiving!

On Nov. 20 from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM, the Wrangler Food Pantry will be giving away Holiday Food Bags filled with everything you need for a Thanksgiving meal.

Pick-up will be drive-thru style on Shakespeare Road at the OC Shipping & Receiving Warehouse — see map. Students are also welcome to walk over to pick up a bag.
