Viaduct Closure: Monday, September 15 – Thursday, September 18

Beginning Monday, September 15 at 8:00 AM, the viaduct will be closed to all traffic as work starts on the new trail segment connecting the viaduct to Redgate Park. Crews will be removing trees on the west side of the viaduct and need full access to safely complete this stage of the project.

The viaduct will reopen once the work is complete which is expected by Thursday, September 18. Exact working hours and updates will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to expand Oelwein’s trail system and improve recreational opportunities for our community.
