Great start to the season as Ogden takes an 18-0 decision over Perry.

The Bulldog defense set the tone through the rest of the game.

Halftime in Ogden as the Bulldogs hold a 10-0 lead over Perry.

Both teams have suffered from turnovers, Ogden with two in the first period and Perry one. However, a 34 yard punt return by Keagan Ristvedt help set up a 3 yard run by Cayden Dudley for a touchdown.

Late in the half, Perry had bad snap on a punt as the ball went through the end zone for a safety, making it 10-0.

Ogden gets the ball to start the third quarter. The attached video is Dudley's touchdown.

This morning was a special one at the Don Williams Golf Course. After years of hard work, struggle and logistics, ground was officially broke for the new clubhouse. The new one will be on the north end of the parking lot where a row of golf carts where sitting. The old clubhouse will be used for storage and the basement will double as a storm shelter. There were noted improvements talked about today for the course itself as well.

📅 Saturday Afternoon through Sunday Evening

With Ogden Fun Days in full swing and many taking advantage of Boone County’s outdoor recreation opportunities this weekend from the hiking trails of Ledges to the biking path of High Trestle Trail and to the waters of Don Williams Lake — the National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Watch.

Forecasts call for heat index values of 105–110°F, creating dangerous conditions for anyone spending time outside.

🎡 Events like the 5K Fun Run, parade, vendor fair, and carnival will take place during peak heat hours.
🌲 Hikers, bikers, paddlers, and campers — please take extra precautions.

🌡️ WHAT TO EXPECT:
• Dangerous heat & humidity Saturday and Sunday
• Elevated risk of heat-related illness
• Heat wave could extend into early next week

🧊 SAFETY TIPS:
• Stay hydrated — drink water frequently
• Take breaks in the shade or air-conditioning
• Dress in light, breathable clothing
• Watch for signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke
• Check in on vulnerable neighbors
• NEVER leave kids or pets in vehicles
