One spice I really treasure but hardly ever talk about is cloves.

I genuinely like cloves, but what worries me is how people are misusing them everywhere.

No matter where you look, it’s cloves here and there. Kids are consuming them, adults too… cloves in drinks, cloves rubbed on the skin, cloves inside the va**na, cloves on the pen*s—literally cloves in everything!

Listen, cloves are not just for sweet aroma or taste.
They are among the strongest natural antibacterial agents on earth.

Proper Benefits of Cloves (when used rightly)

✅ Fights harmful bacteria and infections
✅ Relieves toothache and promotes oral hygiene
✅ Improves digestion and eases bloating
✅ Helps balance blood sugar
✅ Powerful antioxidant that strengthens the immune system

Amazing, right? But here’s the truth.

Just like you cannot walk into a pharmacy, grab antibiotics, and swallow them anyhow…
You also cannot just drink cloves carelessly.

Safe ways to enjoy cloves:

This hydrates your stomach lining, prepares digestive enzymes, and reduces overeating by keeping you satisfied.

Drinking too close to the meal (right before) may dilute stomach acid and weaken digestion.

💧 During Meals:

Small sips are okay, especially if eating dry or spicy food.

Avoid large gulps because excess water can dilute bile and digestive juices, slowing digestion.

💧 After Meals:

Wait 30–60 minutes before drinking large amounts of water.

This gives your stomach enough time to break down food effectively.
