It may be a comfort and assurance to you to know that Calvary has placed 33.3% of proceeds from each lot sale into an Endowed Care Fund since its inception and continues to do so today. This insures that Calvary will be able to care for this sacred property long into the future. By comparison, Ohio law requires “For Profit Cemeteries” to place only 10% of their proceeds into this type of fund.

This unseasonably warm weather had us in a mood to take a walk amongst the statues this afternoon. If you need a moment to gather your thoughts and collect a few breaths of fresh air in the midst of this busy season please consider visiting our grounds. Calvary is a special place and serves as the resting place of so many wonderful souls. It's hard to walk these grounds and not feel the peace and serenity provided by all of their memories and legacies. Long after our bodies are laid to rest, Calvary still remembers. ❤️

Our Executive Director Scott Wright pictured here with some of the wonderful volunteers at the food pantry at St. Mary's Catholic Church here in Dayton. Calvary Cemetery is so proud to be a supporter of this amazing organization. Through your donations at our Angel Night event this year we were able to really stock their shelves full of food as well as make a cash donation of over $1,700!!! This food pantry provides for over 60 families per week as well as countless others who find themselves displaced and in need. If you feel the urge to give this season please consider giving to your local food pantry. ❤️

The amount of food donated last night was amazing! We stuffed it all in the food bank for St. Vincent de Paul at the Historic St. Mary's Catholic Church on Xenia Avenue today! What a blessing to be a part of such a giving community. Thanks to the LaSertoma of Dayton volunteers for all of their hard work at the donation tent last night!
