LIVE — UPDATE — trimming work on the tree is being paused after Ojai City Councilmember Leslie Rule contacted City Hall to request request a stop work order.
First report at 8:30 a.m.: A roughly 400-year-old White Oak tree is being removed on Park Road after the city issued a removal permit when the property owner felt liability is an issue because a large limb fell on a fence and shed.
