Superior Construction and WSP are replacing the Brooks Bridge in Okaloosa County — a 2,100-foot structure built to handle hurricanes, vessel impacts, and growing traffic on the Gulf Coast.

The project includes wider shoulders, shared-use paths, new overlooks, and Florida’s first wax-filled post-tensioned girders for long-term durability. Shallow water, tight access, tough sands, and utility relocations have made this one of the region’s most complex bridge builds.

The Florida Department of Transportation’s $840 million I-395 Signature Bridge Project is redefining downtown Miami with a stunning new landmark and much-needed traffic improvements.

Led by the The Walsh Group and The de Moya Group, Inc. , this project is transforming a crucial 3-mile stretch of highway while creating 33 acres of vibrant community space beneath the bridges!

A critical part of northeast Florida's transportation network, the Interstate 10 and U.S. 301 interchange near Baldwin is receiving a $107 million major upgrade. The existing interchange features two truck stops, drawing a significant number of semi-trucks. However, it also has several deficiencies, including substandard loop ramps, a deceleration ramp that is too short, not enough queue space on U.S. 301, a short weaving distance between loop ramps and U.S. 301, and there is not enough vertical clearance under the bridges. A unique $60 million stadium upgrade in Orlando, Florida, is aiming to enhance the fan experience at the city-owned Camping World Stadium. This renovation will complete an upgrade planned in 2007, as part of a $1.1 billion Venues initiative between the city and Orange County to fund a performing arts center, a basketball arena, and a renovation of the stadium.
