Ya boi is a Certificated Flight Instructor(I can teach Private Pilot, Instrument, and Commercial students) & I’m blessed enough to have my first job as a pilot be a Flight Instructor .fxe. The school where I was a student. ⁣
First off I just wanna thank God Almighty, for continually being a bright light on this journey. There were many times when I would call on his name because I was going through but it was through those hard times I was able to double down on my faith and know that if this was ordained for me I will make it through. My beautiful wife and my family were there every step of the way ⁣

This is the first major step in a journey that started 3 years ago, I pray that I’m a blessing and provide quality instruction to all my students 👍🏾 ⁣

2 years later after taking my first flight on January 26, 2019, I’m officially certified as a flight instructor. Just wanna thank The Lord Almighty for allowing me to wake up each day and also my Wife for sticking through it all and helping me stay encouraged and my little girl for reminding me that I’m not just doing this for me. A big shoutout to my family and friends for always believing in me. Not once did I hear from an outside voice that this was the wrong decision or I don’t believe you can do it. Brand New CFI on the block ⁣

Thanks to Coach E, this is my longest run ever! I have been running for over 4 months averaging 53 miles. I started out only being able to run for about 30 minutes and less than 3 miles at a time. The results of my training are starting to show themselves. The goal of running that marathon is becoming clearer. I am not sure who needs to hear this but keep putting in the work, the results will show. What you sow is what you reap! My fitness and aviation journey are one in the same, what I learn from one I implement in the other ✊

Today’s Topic: Discovering the Why ⁣

When I decide to set a new goal for myself, the biggest priority is discovering my “WHY”. The answer to this question gives me something to reflect on when I feel like giving up. I take the time to sit down and do some deep questioning and answering to make sure that this goal is right for me. So far, the process that has worked best for me is finding my WHY and then really getting deep and breaking the end goal down into daily and weekly tasks. ⁣

Often times, we (including myself) become so obsessed with the end goal that we forget to celebrate the small wins that get us there. It has been a goal of mine for years to run a marathon. However, it wasn’t until I was able to successfully shift my focus from achieving the end goal to accomplishing the daily tasks that I started to see tangible progress and, that all started with discovering my WHY. ⁣

Be on the lookout for stories and more posts about goal setting. If you have goals that you have set feel free to DM me and tell me how you did it and what you learned along the way whether it was successful or not. I am looking to grow and help others grow as well. ⁣

This is how I laid my goals out for the next few years,⁣
aviation wise. You can see it is broken down to the day, because, I want to⁣
make sure each day I spend on this earth is utilized to its fullest capacity.⁣
If I am not working toward my dream, I am wasting my time. When I started this⁣
brand, my goal was to inspire those around me to want to do and be better.⁣
While pictures of my success can do that, I thought it would be worthwhile to⁣
take you guys in a new direction with me. Let us focus on the grind for a while.⁣
Yes, the end goal will always be there but listening to Eric Thomas brought me⁣
back to how we become successful in the first place. It is those little wins.⁣
Finishing the last pages of that book you needed to read for class, that last⁣
exercise in the gym, or in my case doing that flight when you not feeling it.⁣
Consistent small wins will lead to the big ones everyone sees. I want to start⁣
showing you guys my grind, and what I believe makes my channel and page⁣
different than other pilots. They may fly better than me, they may score higher⁣
on aptitude tests but to be the number one thing a great pilot needs is that won't⁣
quit attitude. ⁣

Hey guys! I am super thankful for all the love and support I got on my last video. This week will not disappoint. Join me and my "co-pilot" as we journey to the keys and back. Along the way, we hear one of the funniest Air Traffic Controllers in South Florida, fly along Miami Beach at 500 feet, and hear a famous aviation YouTuber handle an inflight emergency like a boss.

Next week's episode will detail how I got where I am today and some of the challenges I have had to overcome along the way. if you are in the mood for some motivational and inspirational content tune in next week Sunday for Episode 3 of The Journey To Becoming An Airline Pilot In The Pandemic.

Join me on my first flight down to the Florida Keys. We get to talk to one of the best tower controllers in South Florida and hear an Aviation Youtuber handl...

What's good everybody, I made a short video showing a glimpse into my journey of becoming an airline pilot. Especially now when the airlines aren't doing well. Give it a like, leave a comment on how I could do better, or feel free to share it with someone else in your life that wants to be a pilot, and they aren't sure if people are still training.

This too shall pass and I want to be ready and prepared for the time airlines start hiring again.

This video offers a glimpse into my journey of becoming an airline pilot. Even though the times were tough, to say the least. I continued on in chasing my dr...
