On January 11 we will have a great interview with Sarah Krieg [photographer + filmmaker + content creator + educator + podcaster].

Our president Kim Jarchow will be interviewing Sarah. Some of the topics she'll ask about are:

Join us for a presentation by photographer and podcaster Nikki Closser, as she talks about personal branding photography. Nikki has built her business on glamour photography and personal branding.

Nikki has worked closely with Sue Bryce and has been a mentor in Sue Bryce Education since 2013. She is also the host of the Sue Bryce podcast "The Portrait system."

The meeting will be at 7:00 at "Reflections by Ida" studio, 215 N. Clinton, St. John's. We'll be meeting for dinner - join us is you can - around 5:15 at Swanny's, at 310 N. Clinton.

Join us for our meeting February 9 at 7:00, when we will be hosting Nicole Begley, M Photog., CPP to talk about pet photography! Nicole has a pet photography business based in Charlotte NC and is also a noted educator on pet photography.

Nicole will also give us tips on how to incorporate dogs into family photography. There will be plenty of time for Q + A as well!

One of the many great things about being a member of MTPPA is, because we are a PPA affiliate, we get prizes (from PPA) to give away to members every year.

This fall, we had a drawing for a FREE YEAR of PPA membership ($323 value!) and the winner of this drool-worthy gift was Miriam Garcia! This prize also gives her free Imaging for 2021 AND 2022 as well!

Second, we gave away a free pass to Imaging 2021 - and our winner is Ida VanBeelen! With the event being virtual this year, she'll have a few weeks to squeeze as much learning as she can.

With MTPPA's annual membership being only $50 a year, there's never been a better time to join. We have been having great Zoom speakers every month and once we can all get back together, the meetings will continue in person. (annual membership is valid through our August meeting).

MTPPA is a fantastic way to get to know other photographers in a more personal way than you can in a national Facebook group. We are a small but mighty group based in Lansing Michigan and over the years we have partnered with others in the group for projects, client work, road trips to beautiful places to photograph, mentoring, etc. Join us!

Hello all, MTPPA is very mindful of the current health concerns relating to the Coronavirus. Safety is our number one priority for all of our members and we are taking every precaution necessary for the group. With our next meeting coming up in April, we will keep you all informed on what our plans will be.
