I suck at this faith sometimes.

I cuss. I judge. I get mad. I question God. I ignore Him. I push Him away.

Then I come running right back.

I’m not posting this because I have Jesus figured out.

I’m posting it because maybe somebody else thinks they have to get themselves cleaned up BEFORE they can chase Him.

I’m still a mess.

I’m still learning.

I’m still chasing Jesus.

Forgiven. Not finished.

Everybody’s got their hands up worshipping…

And mine are down.

Why?

I don’t know.

Maybe I’m uncomfortable. Maybe I’m embarrassed. Maybe I’m just lazy for God.

That one hurts.

But I’m done pretending my faith looks better than it actually does.

I love God. I love Jesus. I’m just still figuring out how to give Him ALL of me.

Anybody else?

So what exactly is Savage Faith?

Honestly, it started pretty simple.

We wanted to make things we would actually wear. Things that say what we believe without sounding fake, polished or watered down.

But the more we’ve worked on it, the more we’ve realized Savage Faith is bigger than shirts and hats.

It’s our family.

It’s believing you can be forgiven and still be a work in progress.

It’s serving the people right in front of you.

It’s standing for what you believe even when it isn’t popular.

It’s raising our kids to know that faith isn’t something you pull out on Sunday morning. It should show up in how you live, how you treat people, how you serve and what you stand for every day.

We’re not perfect. Not even close.

We’re just a family trying to follow Jesus, serve people and be a little bolder about our faith along the way.

That’s Savage Faith.

And we’re just getting started.

You don’t need a stage. You don’t need a title. You don’t need thousands of followers or some huge platform.

You’ve already got a place to make a difference.

Your family. Your job. Your school. Your team. Your neighborhood. The people you run into every single day.

Sometimes we spend so much time wondering what God is calling us to do next that we miss the people He already put right in front of us.

Probably one of my favorite messages we’ve put on a shirt.

Faith doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. It doesn’t mean you don’t screw up. It doesn’t mean you suddenly become perfect.

It means you’ve been forgiven, and God is still working on you.

Still growing. Still learning. Still becoming who He called you to be.

Forgiven, but definitely not finished.

SATAN SUCKS.

Pretty simple message.

Why do people doing wrong sometimes prosper while people trying to do right still struggle?

I’ve been wrestling with that question.

Psalm 73. Ecclesiastes 9. Free will. Success. Failure. Poverty. Faith. Doubt. Why two people can seemingly do everything right and still end up with completely different outcomes.

I definitely don’t have all the answers.

But maybe faith was never about having all the answers.

Maybe it’s about what we choose to do when the answers don’t make sense.

And maybe instead of only asking, “Where is God in all of this?” we should sometimes ask, “What am I doing about it?”

This one got to me.
