JUST PROVES ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

TOLESG is from a God-given vision so we know this BHAG of ours is not impossible!

Mary McLeod Bethune began her journey with just $1.50, teaching five girls in a small cabin in 1904. That humble classroom grew into Bethune-Cookman University, one of America’s most respected historically Black colleges.

She dedicated her life to education, equality, and empowerment, proving that vision and courage can build more than money ever could. 🏫💖

AMEN!

Madam CJ Walker was the first self-made female millionaire in America.

She trained and employed over 20,000 women, known as "Walker Agents", teaching them sales, leadership, and independence.

Her company gave thousands of Black women professional and financial power in a time when racism and sexism blocked nearly every opportunity.

But she started life with almost nothing.

She was born on a Louisiana cotton plantation and was the first free child in her family after the end of slavery.

Orphaned at 7, married at 14, and widowed by 20.

To support herself and her daughter, she worked as a laundress earning $1.50 a day.

She struggled with hair loss, a common issue among Black women at the time because of harsh conditions and lack of proper hair-care products.

So she created her own scalp treatment and hair formula that worked, then began selling it door to door. Soon she built a full line of products called “Madam C.J. Walker’s Wonderful Hair Grower.”

By the 1910s, newspapers called her the most successful woman in the United States, not just among Black women. Her image appeared in ads, articles, and event programs across the country.

As she said, “Don’t sit down and wait for the opportunities to come. Get up and make them.”

If doors aren't opening for you, you still have time.

Get up and make your own opportunity.

They stood together then and we can make history again by standing together to build the first and largest BIPOC+ film and television production studio where everyone benefits, where profit earnings are shared and where legacies are being built. THE TIME IS NOW MOVEMENT...THE TIME IS NOW TO GET ABOARD!

On this day in 1995, nearly a million Black men filled the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for the Million Man March.

30 years later, that message still remains: when we stand together, we change everything.
