✨ Honoring Terri Cooper for a Legacy of Doing What’s Right ✨

The Jewish Federation of Oklahoma City hosted its annual “It’s Never Wrong to Do What’s Right” Luncheon, celebrating the incredible impact of Terri Cooper.

Terri and her late husband, Bert, dedicated their lives to uplifting the cultural and recreational heart of our community. Her belief in showing up, supporting others, and leading with purpose continues to inspire.

The event also featured guest speaker Lindsay Pinchuk — marketer, entrepreneur, educator, connector, podcaster, and advocate — known for using her voice and platforms to champion important social issues.

A beautiful celebration of leadership, community, and courage. 💙

Support Taiwan at COP30
As a responsible member of the international community, Taiwan is focused on addressing climate change and achieving net zero through pragmatic policies in line with global efforts.
When President Lai Ching-te took office in 2024, he announced the National Project of Hope, setting out a policy vision for green growth and a 2050 net-zero transition. His administration has since dictated five major strategies for advancing the net-zero transformation: developing an intelligent green energy strategy; promoting a dual-track industrial transformation involving both digitalization and greening; fostering net-zero, sustainable lifestyles; ensuring a leading government role supporting the transition; and achieving a just transition that leaves no one behind. Such work demonstrates both resolve and the capacity to confront the challenges of climate change. Yet Taiwan recognizes that net zero emission is not something any nation can achieve alone but rather is a collective journey the global community is taking together.
The COP30 gathering in Belém, Brazil this November will serve as the beginning of the next phase of global climate action. So as to empower Taiwan and strengthen the international community’s capacity to jointly respond to the climate crisis in the spirit of COP30’s “Global Mutirão,” Taiwan must be part of the conversation. Working together, we can move toward and create a net-zero world.
