I spent years wondering why my jazz piano playing sounded "student-level" even when I knew all the right chords. Turns out, it wasn't WHAT chord I was playing — it was HOW I was voicing it.

The Christmas Dance presented by will be packed with people who love to swing, want to learn to swing, and aren't shy about politely asking you to dance with them when they see you standing or sitting alone. No wall flowers allowed!

They are my favorite Tulsa group of people!

I've been so busy with lots of projects that I haven't released enough new music into the wild, and my YouTube stats are starting to slow!

Down from 200,000 unique monthly viewers to only 34,000.

I haven't checked TikTok or Meta, yet. Those are my major ones in terms of use of my music in user content.

Max Holm is a jazz pianist, composer, producer, arranger and educator.
He attended the Berklee College of Music as one of the elite few Presidential Scholars, and was soon accepted into the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Max received his Bachelor of Music degree in Professional Music with triple concentrations in performance, composing and production in 2020, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Over the years he’s amassed numerous awards, including Outstanding Jazz Piano Soloist from Downbeat Magazine, Outstanding Jazz Piano Soloist at the Essentially Ellington Competition at Lincoln Center, Outstanding Jazz Piano from Yamaha Young Artists Competition, and many more.

15 years ago I died and was saved by 7 blood transfusions. After that I became obsessed with learning to play jazz. Did jazz musicians go in together one day to donate blood?
