is located 49 floors above the hum of daily life and worth the visit if only to enjoy the stunning view as the setting sun blankets the city in golden light.
You might be mesmerized by the hawks floating gracefully by the windows and you’ll find yourself floating, too, as you sip your way through the menu.
This preview showcased a few features that won’t join the concept on opening day, however, one dish that will stay is the Basque cheesecake.
I’d put this in the “adventurous eaters” category. Basque cheesecake is fairly plain on its own, but surprisingly, this works. The slightest bit of pressure will have your fork silently slicing through and exposing the creamy center as crème fraîche and caviar cascade over the edges. The saltiness from the caviar partnered with the slight tang of the crème fraîche really set this apart as a savory cheesecake.
The drinks are pleasant with my favorite being the Cloud Cover. It’s a sweet cocktail with melon and peach carrying through, though it’s not fully balanced on the finish.
Ultimately, the vibe is what you’re here for and on that front, it’s 10s across the board. The seating, the spacing, the colors chosen — intentional, sexy, and beautiful.
You’d be remiss not to experience it.
