💫 Acting Lessons Playing A Real Person Taught Me…

1. Reverence.
You’re not just playing a character… you’re carrying someone’s life. Imagine someone playing your best friend… and they phoned it in.

2. It makes acting bigger than you. Bigger than Hollywood.
You realize—this isn’t about booking the job… it’s about telling the story right.

3. Your attention to detail is on a new level. There’s a different energy on set. Call it spirituality… call it responsibility… but when you’re recreating real events—you feel it.
This was a bare bones indie…
but the story, the people, the purpose—
did more than any big budget ever could.

💛 These lessons taught me a new focus and energy that I try to bring to every pair of shoes I’m lucky to step into as an actor. Real life or not.

It’s apart of how and why I teach so passionately at .studios .
