Belief is not a mood you visit only when everything is good. Belief is what remains after certainty crumbles.

Faith is not optimism.It is not confidence. It isnot the ability to speak hope fluently. Faith is what you keep touching in the dark when the story you told yourself crumbled in your mouth.

If belief only worked when things succeeded, it was not belief. It is reward.Real belief shows up after failure - after the prayer that was not answered the way you asked, after the door closed, after the effort did not yield the outcome you imagined.

Faith is choosing to stay in relationship with meaning even when meaning goes silent. It is continuing to act with integrity when the outcome no longer validates you. It is saying: I will not abandon what I know to be true just because it did not protect me.

I will not collapse into cynicism just because hope cost me something.

Belief is not proven by triumph. It is revealed by resilience. And not the loud kind. The quiet kind that still feeds the birds. That still tells the truth. That still loves, even when it its difficult.

Faith after failure is humbler. It stops demanding signs. It stops bargaining.
It becomes lived rather than declared.

So what is belief? Belief is staying.
Not because you are sure.
But because you refuse to let failure have the final word on who you are.

January 8th 2026: Asteroid Persephone conjunct the north node in Pisces.

This year, Persephone begins her springtime arc, entering Aries on March 9th. Her mother Ceres enters Ta**us on March 14th.

Shortly after spring equinox, Sun conjunct Persephone on March 26th. Ceres completes her square to Pluto on March 28th.

Persephone enters Ta**us in June, stations retrograde in September, and stations direct square Pluto, returning to direct motion on December 25th.
