“Concert in the Park” is scheduled for August 25, 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Jim Newport Memorial Park on 6th Street and is sponsored by Okmulgee Main Street. This concert is free to the public. The free concert has a special entertainer for this event, Brent Giddens, an Elvis impersonator.

The Okmulgee County Democratic Party will sponsor the annual Labor Day BBQ Dinner fundraiser at the Civic Center in Henryetta on Monday, September 5th. Serving will begin at noon or after the Parade is ended and cost will be $8.00 for adults & $5.00 for children under twelve, drink & dessert included.
Entertainment will be provided by Okmulgee’s own, Larry & Carolyn Palmer and their “Karaoke”. Everyone is welcome!
