I was asked the other day about having a "Mission Statement," and I somewhat flipped with my answer saying, "I don't have one." Several days later I realized I had lied to that person, I've had a mission statement for the past two decades, I just failed to follow it in all my effort to keep up with the changes in technology. en't been doing that, not so much because I've ignored it, but mostly because Life keeps getting in the way. We have these great ideas and plans to do something bigger and better than normal life, then normal life steps in and gives us a handful of stuff we cannot ignore, and in most cases, we have to put our great ideas and plans on the back burner until we deal with life. I've been focused on my K.I.S.S Mision Statement for the past several months, and for the first time in years, I feel like I'm in control again. No stress, no hurry up to get things done, no forcing the ideas and the work to try and impress others, just taking it a day at a time and letting it come together. My heart and mind are working in tandem, and I'm finally thinking more highly of others than myself. That may not sound like a big deal to many in this day and age, but I assure you it is, and that will be the theme of The Hinson Report coming in mid-January, more details coming in the next few days.
