Science Fiction Anthology Overview

We, at Harren Press, are hosting a Sci Fi anthology! The themes include Space Opera, Space Exploration, or Alien Planet. Use your creativity and knowledge of science fiction to build a story and etch a place for yourselves in the annals of Harren Press’s history. Thank you to those who help us fulfill this mission.

Rights

We purchase First Electronic, First Print, and Anthology Rights. Please remember that you can only sell your various “First” rights once. You will only be able to market your accepted story as a reprint, once we have published it, which may limit where you can submit it to in the future, and how much you may be paid for it. Only you can make this business decision for yourself. (We will consider reprints if you have the rights back)

Submission Requirements

• We are looking for short stories between 3,500-7,500 words.

• $100 for best story, two $50 honorable mentions, and $25 for everyone else.

• Stories are to be submitted to [email protected] in .docx (if you have it), standard manuscript format (Half indention preferable, double spaced, etc).

• Send a 200 word (max) author bio with your publication history.

A Viking, a Cowboy, an Assassin from a dystopian future, and a Scientist from another world, come together with time travel in this fantasy/sci fi/steampunk tale. I think you'll love it.

We are consolidating pages on Facebook. This page will be retired here in the next two weeks. All future news of Harren Press will come through our Asinine page, where we also do paranormal investigations, podcasts, and news/satire.

I assure you that Harren Press does have projects coming out before the end of this year (one is coming soon and two others are in the works).
